ECC has received an invitation to participate in an 8-day international residency in London, England in June 2027, singing with world renowned composer, Sir John Rutter, and the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra.
This extraordinary experience will allow our choristers to perform in historic venues, collaborate with international musicians, and engage in immersive cultural and educational activities. For many of our students, this will be their first time traveling abroad. Most importantly, our singers will proudly represent Evansville and the surrounding community on an international stage, serving as young ambassadors for our city, its values, and its vibrant arts culture.
To make this experience possible, we are working to raise $150,000 to help cover airfare, lodging, meals, transportation, performance expenses, and educational programming. We have planned numerous fundraising events, but fundraising alone will not be enough. We are committed to ensuring that no child is excluded due to financial hardship, and your generous support will play a vital role in making this goal a reality.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to sending these talented young musicians to London.
